Investment in a Garden
Having a garden landscaped makes a lot of sense if you love gardening and want to look out from your house over beautiful flower filled borders. For those who like to entertain, there’s nothing quite like eating ‘al fresco’ with friends and family surrounding the BBQ or a fashionable fire pit. Gardens are great places for families to enjoy simply being outside together and the surroundings make a huge difference to the pleasure that can bring.
Did you know that having a well maintained garden can add a whopping 20% to the value of your property? That’s according to this article (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/property/online-estate-agent/does-garden-add-value-to-home/) in the Daily Telegraph, a garden designed and landscaped is a good investment!
How much is it going to cost to have a garden landscaped?
It’s a question we’re often asked and the answer is we don’t know until we’ve seen it. Landscaping costs vary according to the design, the size of your garden, the quantity and size of plants, site access and the quality of materials used. If your garden is on a slope, for example, and requires a substantial retaining wall, the cost of building a properly engineered structure can be considerable.
