Are there any guarantees?

You never know what’s under the ground! So… for everyone’s peace of mind, we are a fully insured company. This means if something goes terribly wrong, it will be quickly fixed for you.

All our landscaping workmanship is guaranteed for up to three years of normal use, with the correct care.

We guarantee that all the hard landscaping products used in your garden are from ethically sourced suppliers, who also give guarantees on their products.

All our plants are guaranteed to be healthy on supply or they are replaced free of charge at the time of planting. However, we cannot guarantee plants after they have been planted. We provide a plant maintenance and watering guide after we have left the trees and plants in your care. It is very important that plants, which are living things, are looked after properly. If you aren’t sure, please ask.

I'm worried that I might have a lovely garden built then won't be able to look after it, is there an after-care service?

If you wish, you will receive a monthly newsletter with tips on how to keep your lawn and plants looking great. You can sign up to this at the bottom of the page.

We often work with busy people who haven’t got time to look after their garden. You may need a monthly or fortnightly visit from one of our maintenance team. Please get in touch if you would like us to take care of your garden for you by contacting us here.

How long will it take?

A typical garden landscaping project takes five weeks from start to completion. However, this varies considerably depending on the complexity of the work. A simple replacement patio or new planting scheme might only take a week, a complex garden can take several months.  For more information on the garden design stage of our process, please take a look at our garden design process page.

Who will be my point of contact once the landscaping begins?

If you have had your garden designed by us, your designer will continue to be your main point of contact. Once work has begun you will have a team, usually of two in your garden every day, but it can be more depending on the complexity. The team leader will be introduced to you and all day to day issues will be dealt with by the team leader. They are supported by the operations director, who is on hand for extra reassurance to make the whole process as smooth as possible for you. He will be in contact with you and the team who do the work on your garden.

We do our best to avoid delays but dealing with the underground is dealing with the unknown. Communication is the key, and we will inform you if the work is going to take longer than we expected and give an explanation.

Can I make changes once the work has begun?

If you change your mind during the landscaping work, we will do all that we can to accommodate your requests.

It is possible that the current budget and project timings will be affected. This can all be discussed with the team leader or operations director.

What are your working hours?

Normally, we aim to be with you between 8:00 and 8:30 am, but if the team are due to be later, e.g., collecting supplies or traffic problems, we will phone to let you know. Our working day finishes at 4:00 pm.

What access and facilities will the team need?

Should the team need to access your garden via your property, they will remove outdoor footwear, put down dust sheets, and clean up at the end of the working day.

Sometimes, the team will need access to power and water; if this is the case, Jakub will make you aware prior to work commencing.

Our people require access to a toilet during the working day, which will be situated outside your property while the garden is being built. We will organise this to be delivered and collected.

Skips or a grab lorry may also be required. If it is not possible for us to locate a skip on your drive, we will organise a license from the council for a skip to be left on the street.

What happens if the weather is too bad to work?

A little bit of rain does not normally stop us but… if the weather is really too bad for us to work, we will contact you to let you know the situation.
