Landscaping in Oxfordshire – new garden created from a field, near Wallingford
Soon after people move into a new property they consider making changes to their new garden. In this case there was a lot of open grass fields and the client wanted to introduce more of a structure to the garden with paths, raised beds, a greenhouse an area for growing vegetables and more borders.
The garden is set in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, with a rather overgrown woodland area and pond – very peaceful and rural in character. Initially, the client required to introduce some structure and formality. Although a keen plantsman, he required some ideas on the layout of the plot, which was about four acres in total. A garden design was required to bring all the elements together in a cohesive way.
“The majority of the work was carried out in winter months in awful weather but the dedication of the team was fantastic and the quality of work was excellent. A year on and the garden looks fantastic and draws much praise and admiration; it also gives me a great deal of pleasure” –Neil Summerfield, Near Wallingford, Oxfordshire
