Garden project: small, high end development
The garden became a source of pride and pleasure for the owners.
This house and garden were built as part of a small development of high end properties. There had been some planting done by the property developers but sadly the trees and plants were failing because the quality of soil was so poor.
Focal summer house
The owners are keen gardeners so we set about a design that would incorporate all the plants that they love with a small greenhouse for pottering and smart new summer house. This became a focal point to the design. As is common in new build gardens, screening was required to give a little more privacy, so the design incorporated a new ‘woodland walk’ to achieve this.
Just a year after the owners moved into their new home, the garden became a source of pride and pleasure. Bifold doors lead onto a spacious patio for entertaining and for the grandchildren to play. Four generations enjoy using this garden!
