In September we were hitting the news!
No garden clearance project is too difficult for the determined team at Oxford Garden Design. We were thrilled when we won the contract to do the maintenance of the Mound next to Oxford Castle.
It was a difficult site because of the very steep slope so Paul and Aris had to abseil down, strimmers in hand, while Ollie and Angelo brought the waste down to a skip. Karen and I were lending our moral support from the nice café until we were hauled out to take turns driving rubbish to the tip.
It took us three days and the area was closed to the general public while the work was carried out. Health and safety was paramount, not only because of the risk to the men doing the work, but also because the area is next to one of Oxford’s busiest streets.
