Sheena’s business vision
Sheena Marsh founded Oxford Garden Design in 2001 when she changed careers to become a garden designer. She very quickly built up a number of very satisfied clients who increasingly wanted her to also manage the building of their garden.
Following some rather unsatisfactory experiences using sub-contractors, Sheena decided that the only way to really bring her designs to life and be able to control the project to her exacting standards, was to bring on board her own landscapers and so Oxford Garden Design was formed.
The business now employs a whole team of designers, project managers, landscapers and horticulturalists, but Sheena still leads the business with style and passion
Sheena writes for the Oxford Times’ Limited Edition magazine, where she has two pages of gardening hints, tips and views each month. She has appeared as the Gardening Expert on BBC Radio Oxford and took part in the Channel 4 ‘Great Garden Challenge’ programme, filmed at Blenheim Palace. Sheena takes garden tours around some of the famous gardens in Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds and gives talks on the History of Garden Design.

Paul is a Director of our business and joined the team in 2014. He has led our team steadily through a period of rapid growth.

Jamie is the person you will meet when he comes to visit and see your garden.
He’ll listen to your current issues, likes and desires to combine them with his ideas and inspiration, so that we can deliver a garden that you will enjoy for years.
Emma | Garden Designer
Emma and Sheena have been working together on various designs ever since she qualified in Garden Design from the Oxford College of Garden Design in 2007.
Emma is a highly creative person who has a natural passion for converting garden spaces into inspiring landscapes. She is skilled at understanding her clients’ requirements.
Oli | Commercial Manager
Lou | Accounts Manager
While most of the teams are busy working in gardens, Lou makes sure that all runs smoothly in the office.
Lou will make sure that you fully understand payment plans for the building of your garden.
Jakub | Senior Team Leader
Jakub is one of our experienced Senior Team Leaders managing our landscaping work.
Once a garden has been designed and quoted for most people go on to have their garden built by Oxford Garden Design. This is when you will meet the senior team leader who will be responsible for building your garden. With over 60 years of experience in landscaping between them, your garden is in safe hands with Jakub, Alberto and Terence leading the team.

Alberto is one of our experienced Senior Team Leaders managing our landscaping work.

This is when you will meet the senior team leader who will be responsible for building your garden.
